    Braces on Christmas Eve

Finally the time has come Santa Claus is back in the country. It is always a festive period where everyone enjoys the coziness. A beautiful time for young and old. But besides enjoying, there are always the questions: 'What should I give?' and 'What should I ask?' These are also always the dilemmas of this time.

    Does Santa Claus wear suspenders?

We've all seen a picture of Santa Claus wearing a pair of cheerful red braces. However, we've never been able to catch our own Sinterklaas wearing one. Perhaps it would be a nice idea for the helpers to give Sinterklaas a pair of braces this year.

A pair of nice red suspenders from Michaelis or Daspartout. Michaelis is a Dutch brand with a down-to-earth approach. Beautiful braces of good quality for a nice price. But also Daspartout offers quality. It is a Dutch brand, just like Michaelis and Hein Strijker for example. It has a robust appearance with sturdy clips. Especially for Sinterklaas a good idea, so that everything stays in place during long rides on horseback.

Braces: Santa Claus vs. Father Christmas?

Why doesn't Santa Claus wear suspenders? That's the question we sometimes ask ourselves. The most obvious problem with Santa Claus is the fact that he wears a coat. It's hard to give suspenders a place in that. Santa Claus wears a suit and suspenders ensure that his pants stay in place during the sleigh rides. Santa Claus's red suspenders are therefore actually indispensable.

    The solution

So Saint Nicholas should actually go for a complete makeover to be able to wear braces. Because the good saint has been around for quite a few years, this chance is quite small. Still, we think that braces should also have a place with Saint Nicholas. Maybe not with Saint Nicholas himself, but with his Pieten.

    Black Petes and suspenders

Braces do fit the Piets perfectly. They can wear the braces as an addition to their beautiful suits. Braces are available in beautiful colors such as:  blue, green , yellow and orange. But braces are not only available in solid colors. There are also braces with happy dots and colored stripes . There is actually no better addition to their outfit.

So Pieten choose a pair of nice red braces for Sinterklaas and maybe he will go for a total makeover. But we can imagine that you do not like this. So Sint we think it is a good idea when you give your Pieten a pair of distinctive braces as a gift. Make sure that your Pieten become real trendsetters with the braces from bretels.nl.
